Niterói Contemporaray Art Muesum

A measure of national art production.
The Rio de Janeiro Contemporaray Art Muesum, established in Icaraí, was raised in 1996. The edifice was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and takes on the shape of an upside-down flying saucer… It is a spectacular construction to say the least.
The 2500m² display space of this cultural treasure trove counts more than 1200 works by contemporary artists. In addition, the collections include works offered by artists who formerly displayed their work in the museum.
